Now here's a peculiarity, since the end of July, The Blob has experienced an almost unprecedented interest from readers in Russia [see PageView graphic L]. We were getting up to 5x more activity than usual globally and the excess was almost entire coming from Russia. We seem now to be back to normal levels from you, Normal Reader. A similar blip-up occurred in January, also from Russia, which then faded away. I guess somebody important in Novosibirsk put a link on Twitterski and it took a while for her followers to realise that there was nothing of interest to see here.
